Alexander graduated with a BA (Hons)degree in Politics from Newcastle University. He joined Cheviot in 2008 and sits with the Investment Strategy team, specialising in analysing equities and long-only collectives. He liaises closely with the Chief Investment Officer, Alan McIntosh, and also works within the Collective Funds Committee. Alexander completed the Certificate in Investment Management in 2009 and is currently studying for the Chartered Securities Institute Diploma.
