Alison graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Liverpool. She began her career at BWD Rensburg in 1997, and joined Merrill Lynch in 2001 before moving in 2003 to Tilney where she was an Investment Director. Tilney was subsequently acquired by Deutsche Bank in 2006. In 2011, Alison joined Cheviot Asset Management as an Investment Director, where she is responsible for managing portfolios on behalf of individuals, trusts, charities and pension funds. She is a chartered Fellow of the Securities & Investment Institute.
