Ian began his career at JM Finn & Co. in 1994 then moved to James Capel in 1996. In 2003 he joined Laing & Cruickshank Investment Management, which was acquired by UBS Wealth Management in 2004. In 2006 Ian joined Cheviot Asset Management, where he is responsible for managing portfolios on behalf of individuals, trusts, charities and pension funds, as well as running Cheviot’s derivative businesses.
