Paul began his career at Standard Chartered Securities in 1991, where he was a dealer in Far Eastern Equities. He joined HSBC in 1997 where he was involved in trading UK Equities. Two years later Paul worked as a trader for Sharepeople, before joining Merrill Lynch as a Market Maker. He joined Laing & Cruickshank Investment Management in 2003, which was acquired by UBS Wealth Management in 2006. He joined Cheviot Asset Management in 2006, where he has responsibility for executing deals and broking to a number of leading institutions.
