Philip started his career in 1984 with Fenchurch Insurance Holdings before joining Laing & Cruickshank in 1987. In 1990, following a six month rolling period in each of the operational departments, he moved to head up the firm’s PEP/ISA department before setting up their Operational Risk and Control Department in 1997. In 2000, Philip took on the roll as Head of Legal & Compliance, a role he continued at UBS Wealth Management after the acquisition of Laing & Cruickshank in 2004. In 2006 Philip joined Cheviot as Head of Legal & Compliance and in 2011 moved into his current role as Business Development Director.
