Prior to his career in Investment Management, William saw service in the Royal Navy (7 years in the submarine service) from 1991 to 2001. In 2002 he joined Laing & Cruickshank Investment Management, which was acquired by UBS Wealth Management in 2004. In 2006 William joined Cheviot Asset Management, where he manages portfolios for the Charities and Trust Fund Department. He sits on the Cheviot Fund Selection Committee and is a Member of the Securities & Investment Institute (MCSI).
