Portfolio OEICs

The Libero Funds are part of Cheviot’s in-house Open Ended Investment Company (OEIC) structure. The fund range allows you and your clients access to our investment expertise through a unitised structure so that there is no limitation on minimum portfolio size.

There are three different funds in the Libero range: Cautious, Strategic and Balanced

Sales and purchases within the fund structure do not attract capital gains, although the client will normally be liable to a capital gains assessment when a Libero fund is sold. This means that gains can be rolled up without having any immediate CGT liability. This unitised solution also allows a portfolio to be managed without the restrictions of the client's capital gains position.

The Libero range is normally the most cost effective means of investing with Cheviot due to its simplicity of investment.
